Final Reflection

We had a spectacular day for our trout release.  It was bittersweet to see the trout, that we so lovingly cared for during the past 8 months, swim away.  In your final reflection respond to the following:
  1. What have you learned about trout and their environment?
  2. What surprised you about the trout?
  3. What do you still wonder about?
Of course you are also welcome to share any other thoughts about the trout and their environment and/or the trout release day at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.  I look forward to reading your responses.

Trout 1

As you watch this video from March 20, 2009, think about and then write a response to the following questions:

1)  Do paired fins move together in the same ways?  Are some fins used more than others? EXPLAIN
2)  Describe what happens to the fish's fins when it is still?
